Personal Hygiene

Personal hygiene can be a tricky one for many on the spectrum due to the sensory issues involved. The range of products below aim to help with a wide range of issues, with a wide range of solutions.

Hair

Washing

These products cover all areas of washing, and help avoid sensory issues in a number of ways. Some fragrance free and unscented, some non-foaming, deodorants in all manner of different forms, and some with easily accesible bottles allowing easy dosing out.

For those that simply cannot stand to have a ‘wet wash’ very often, there are also a few options for ‘waterfree washing’ – no rinse wipes and body wash that can be ideal for extreme sensory issues.

Teeth

These products cover all aspects of teethcare, focussing mainly on toothbrushes and toothpastes.

There are toothbrushes of many different sizes and shapes, some with cool features to help your child focus, and toothpastes featuring unflavoured, non-foaming, fruit flavoured, ‘unusual’ flavoured…

Unfortunately, there is no ‘one size fits all’, so the best approach will be simple ‘trial and error’. These are all solutions that some have found helpful though, so hopefully we have taken some of the ‘error’ out of the picture.

Hair

These products cover all aspects of caring for your hair – washing, brushing and cutting.

Featuring unscented toiletries, products to keep water out of faces and ears while washing, a range of different hair brushes to reduce sensory overload and a range of tools to help keep hair cutting as stress free as possible.
